About Concord

Concord is a town in Middlesex County. The town center is near where the confluence of the Sudbury and Assabet rivers forms the Concord River. Concord is in eastern Massachusetts bordered by several towns: Carlisle, Bedford, Lincoln, Wayland, Sudbury, Maynard, and Acton.

Concord’s most celebrated annual event is Patriots Day, a Massachusetts holiday honoring the beginning of the American Revolution, where the first shot was fired at North Bride and the battle along Battle Trail are re-enacted.
