About Windham
Windham is located in Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire, about 3 miles (5 km) north of the Massachusetts border. The entire town is within the Merrimack River watershed. Its adjacent municipalities are Derry (north), Salem (east), Pelham (south), Hudson (southwest), and Londonderry (northwest). Windham is known primarily for its university (Eastern Connecticut State University), located in the Willimantic section of town.

NH 111-A runs from south-central Windham, where it enters the town from Pelham to a junction with Route 111 on the town's eastern outskirts. Range Road connects Cobbetts Pond with Canobie Lake.
NH 128 runs north-south through town, near the Hudson border.
Interstate 93 runs from southeast to northwest through town. Windham has one interchange, Exit 3, which connects to NH 111.
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is located on the border between Londonderry and Manchester. The nearest rail service is the MBTA Commuter Rail's Lowell Line, which can be accessible via the Charles A. Gallagher Transit Terminal in Lowell, Massachusetts. Boston's North and South Stations are the closest Amtrak stations.
